Now We Really Get Busy!

It is almost Spring and the LPCS campus is alive with activity. March is very busy for us as we look forward to registration and getting ready for next year. There are a few important dates for you to remember. First is Friday, March 11, 2011. Our Pre-K classes are invited to join our Kindergarten classes for a morning of fun crafts and activities. This is a great time for the Pre-K students to see what is in store for them next year.

Feliz Nacho Day!

If you were to spend any amount of time on our campus, you might hear someone singing, "Feliz Nacho Day."  We are thinking there might be one person to blame for this, but Mrs. Bland will not admit to it.

Are You Ready for Turkey?

It is that time of year again! Time for our annual All School Thanksgiving Feast, Friday, November 19th at 11:30 am. We will meet in the main sanctuary for a special assembly and lunch will be served at 12:00 pm. We are looking forward to many family members joining us for this fun event. Each child is to bring the food item that is assigned to his/her classroom. Please be sure to have all food items turned in by Wednesday, November 17th.

Food List:

1 large bag of Baked Rolls

Special Announcement

The cold weather is here, so I will be placing an order for our pull over sweatshirts on Monday, October 25th. If you have not placed your order, please do so as soon as possible. I have also sent home one final t-shirt order for this year. We will open up orders again in Spring 2011. I also have 16 youth medium zip up jackets and 17 youth small zip up jackets now in stock. If you wish to purchase on of those, please send your order form and $20 to the school office.

October Newsletter

Fall is in full swing here at LPCS.  We are enjoying the cool weather and preparing for many rainy day schedules.  If you are new to LPCS let me quickly explain the rainy day schedule:  Drop off and pick up of your student will occur on the church side, through the main doors and in the large room on the right.  We ask that you pack an extra pair of socks for your child.  The rain can sometimes surprise us and feet get wet.  It would be advisable to purchase a pair of inexpensive rubber boots.  I have a pair and live in them during the rainy season.

Here we go!

September 15, 2010

Here we go!  Last night was a huge success and we enjoyed every minute of our time together.  Zsalene and I love any time that we are able to get together with all of our LPCS family.  Since there was so much information given to you last night, I thought it might be profitable to send you a quick update.
